An inspiring town for artists, families and business people

Created by the merger of many municipalities surrounding its banks, Town of Brome Lake will transport you to a different world, just over an hour from Montreal. Proud of its heritage, it has a mixed population of anglophones and francophones who live in harmony, including many freethinkers, artists, business people, visionaries and families, all attracted by the quality of life that Town of Brome Lake can offer them. With an area of 14.53 km2, the Brome lake attracts tourists year round. It is also at the heart of the lives of its residents. A paradise for fishermen, artists, outdoor and sports enthusiasts, it is used for swimming, fishing, sailing, kayaking, rowing or paddleboating (SUP) in summer, running and walking in the trails that border its banks and by biking along its shores. In the winter, ice fishing and the ice skating rink with its heated shelter at Douglass beach are popular with families.
