To ensure access to a diverse range of recreational activities, the Town of Brome Lake has established agreements with certain neighboring municipalities.

Intermunicipal Recreation Agreement With the City of Granby

The citizens of Brome Lake can have access to the Town of Granby’s recreational activities and library.

See the list of activites included in the agreement : 

Bibliothèque Paul-O.-Trépanier

  • Subscription for borrowing documents, games, and computer devices;
  • Reservation and free use of computer stations; and
  • Any activity requiring registration.

Centre aquatique Desjardins de Granby

  • Any activity or course requiring registration, according to the current pricing;
  • Subscription for open swim according to the current pricing; and
  • 50% discount on admission to open swim according to the current pricing.

Granby Multi-Sports

  • Any activity or course requiring registration, according to the current pricing.

Vie culturelle et communautaire de Granby

  • Any activity or course requiring registration, according to the current pricing, except for the day camps offered by Vie culturelle et communautaire de Granby;

Lake Boivin Nature Interpretation Center:

  • Free access to trails; 
  • Registration for day camps with other partners of the CITY, as applicable, excluding those of Vie culturelle et communautaire, according to the current pricing.

Club de golf Miner

  • Registration for group classes and day camps, according to the current pricing; 
  • 20% discount on the daily play fee.

Other non-profit recreational organizations, partners of Granby Multi-Sports, or Vie culturelle et communautaire de Granby

  • All activities requiring registration, according to the current pricing (Granby Youth Hockey Association, Les Cosmos Soccer Club, Tennis Granby, etc.).

Please follow the procedure below to register yourself or your family members for activities offered by the Town of Granby:

Step 1 | Obtain an attestation of residence issued by the Town of Brome Lake.

You must present yourself during the Centre Lac-Brome’s opening hours with proof of residence (tax or electricity bill) and photo identification (driver’s license or health insurance card). If the attestation is for a child, you must also bring a document that establishes the parental link (birth certificate, hospital card or school report card for the current year).

The 2024 fee for each attestation is $175+tax.

Please note that each member of your family wishing to participate in the activities must have an attestation.

The attestation allows you to obtain your leisure card (carte-loisirs), which is valid for a period of 1 year.

Step 2 | Obtain the Granby Leisure Card (carte-loisirs).

You must then go to one of the 4 service points in Granby (https://granby.ca/fr/carte-loisirs) with your paid attestation (s) and an ID to obtain the leisure card(s).

Agreement with West Bolton

West Bolton residents can register for activities at the same rate as residents of Brome Lake.   

Proof of residence
Please bring proof of residence with you when you come to register (Hydro bill, municipal tax bill, etc).
