What is the 311 service?

The 311 service allows calls to be handled outside office hours. This service is designed to simplify and improve access to municipal services for citizens.

By dialling 311 when you're on Brome Lake territory, you can quickly obtain information, report problems or request services related to the municipality. Accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week, this new number is your gateway to municipal services. Please note that 450-243-6111 can still be used to contact the Town at any time.

I'm connected to the municipal water supply and my water is brown or cloudy. What should I do?

Note that brown or cloudy water is not necessarily unfit for consumption. In such a situation, the Town will issue a precautionary boil water advisory.

If you notice brown or cloudy water and no advisory has been issued by the Town of Brome Lake, let the water run COLD for 15 to 20 minutes until it becomes clear again.
