Who do I contact in case of emergency?

To reach police, ambulance or fire departments, please dial 911. The 911 emergency call centre will contact either of these services, depending on the response required.

To reach the police for non-emergency calls, such as excessive noise at a neighbour's house, please contact the Sûreté du Québec (Dunham) at 310-4141.

How the first responder service works?

Two patrols operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week serve the Lac-Brome territory. They work twelve-hour shifts in emergency vehicles equipped with oxygen, a defibrillator and everything else needed to respond to emergencies. These vehicles and equipment are provided by the Town. In addition to responding to emergencies, they can also be recruited to provide first aid at community events.

First responders are volunteers who receive over 60 hours of training, including theoretical courses and several hours of practice and simulation.
