Under the supervision of the camp coordinator and the head counselor, as a day camp counselor you plan, prepare and lead a variety of activities for your group of children. You will ensure their supervision and safety throughout the summer.
Main Responsibilities
Actively participate in training sessions and meetings before and during the season.
Create a weekly activity plan and have it approved by the immediate supervisor.
Welcome children, supervise the group, and lead activities with enthusiasm.
Ensure the safety and well-being of the children under your care.
Report any incidents or noteworthy events to your supervisor.
Communicate with parents before the start of the camp to share relevant information.
Perform any other related tasks to ensure the camp runs smoothly.
Requirements
Ability to communicate effectively in both French and English.
DAFA training and first aid certification (an asset).
Strong sense of responsibility, creativity, and ability to work as part of a team.

Employment Conditions
8-week full-time position (35-40 hours/week), Monday to Friday, from late June to mid-August.
Salary: $17.82 per hour
