Flushing the Water System in the Bondville Sector
Episodes of brown water have been observed in the Bondville sector over the past few weeks. This is mainly due to the fact that water was being redirected during work on Montagne Street.
The Public Works team will carry out a final flushing of the aqueduct in the Bondville sector.
Reminder: this procedure is designed to ensure good drinking water quality, dislodge manganese and iron particles and maintain the aqueduct network in good condition.
Important: water is safe to drink during this process. There’s no need to boil it.
Here’s what this could mean for you:
- a slight drop in water pressure
- a slight reddish discoloration due to the dislodging of rust
